I have had alot of request lately so here it is.....
1 egg
2 c SR flour
1 T sugar
½ t salt
1oz melted margarine
3/4c milk
milk for glazing
Beat egg and sugar until thick
Add melted margarine to milk
Sift flour and salt into bowl
Make a well in flour and stir in egg mixture
Mix into soft dough
Knead lightly, flatten 12mm thick( ½”), cut
Glaze with milk
Bake in hot oven 10-12 minutes
A really good recipe that never fails.... have a go
